When you find objects they will disappear from the playing field and they will have a checkmark appear next to them in the right rail list. In the right rail there is a list of the objects you need to find. Touch the screen to use your finger like a mouse. You can also left click on items which appear in the bonus round or click to scroll up or down the item finding list. Use your mouse left click button to select items hidden in the game. Once you have beat the game a level select button appears to the left of the play button.
In the upper left corner there is a remaining time meter which clicks down from pink to white clockwise. Across the top of the screen there are a variety of buttons and indicators. At the bottom of the right rail there is an arrow for scrolling up or down to see the last few items which are out of screen. You get 3 hints per level.
If you start at a level other than the first level then your cumulative game score will only be for the levels you play. The 5 levels are: Snack Shack Day, Snack Shack Night, The Beach Day, The Beach Night, and Secret Lab. If you beat the game you can go back and replay any level. If you run out of time you lose the level and can try it again. Each time you play a level you seek out different objects, while some of the object locations can also change.
The bonus round is triggered by finding one of the regular level items. In the middle of each level there is a bonus round where you collect items flying across the screen like beach balls, Frisbees, coconuts, maracas and lab beakers. Using the hints button does not cost you points, but you can not choose which item the hint button helps you find, so do not use it until you only have a few items left. You are not penalized for guess clicking on random spots. You get a minute to finish each level and score 50 points for each second you have remaining when you complete the puzzle. You also score bonus points for how much time you have remaining when you beat the level.
The game is suited for hidden object game players of all ages. The upper right corner of the bonus round has a timer on it showing how much time you have left. Time spent in the bonus round does not count against your regular level time. You are not penalized for stray clicks. Each bonus item has its own travel path.
